xr 100s are awesome. i currently have mine with a grooved street tire on the rear for flat track practice. eventually ill get a 16 inch xr 80 front wheel to have matching 16s. not sure if you have already looked into riding flat track but you should give it a chance. on the short tracks the xr 100s are really fun even compared to my dtx flat track bike. and many flat track races have a class for xr 100s. here is a video of the legend kenny roberts riding xr 100s out at his home where he built a tt track.

We've been running XRs for a while now - all the way from the 50, to the 70, to the 80, to the 100. We bought the 50 when my oldest, now 19, was 4. We currently have 2 100s.

Studded-up the 80 to run on the frozen lake -

And we run them in the woods in the winter, which is a blast!

Had them out last weekend doing some trials-ish riding in the woods jumping over downed trees.

Yeah I have another XR that if I don't sell it I want to set it up for dirt/flat track and give it a whirl. I have not really looked around but am unaware of any local tracks that do the 100 flat track, but should I find one I would probably give it a whirl. I really want to do it as another training avenue.

Ride the kart track for the front and the dirt track for the rear lol.

here is a video of an xr100 chasing a ttr 125. this happens to be at a track in texas. i think the xr100 is probably modified with the bbr 120 kit and a pipe, i could be wrong.

Yeah that definitely makes me want to give it a try when I can get everything sorted.

Jay, where in wisconsin do you ride? I'm out on Fox lake frequently in the winter with our XR 100's.

We ride on a small lake west of Neshkoro called Tuttle Lake. My in-laws have property on the lake, so we take the quad out and plow a track or 2 during the winter.
