New Brake Pad=New Brake rotors????

hey fellow ninjetters need a little help

i just passed 12,*** miles on my 09 250 and my brake pads are getting fairly thin especially the rear since i tend to use them more than my front

any advice on whether to change out the brake pads and rotors as a set or just the pads by themselves

I'm a little strapped for cash and spending over $600+ for a complete rotor and pad sets F and R is kinda outta the question for me (full EBC upgrade for sure)....OEM rotors alone cost $400 F and $200 R

I'm no expert, but I'm almost positive as long as your rotors aren't damaged, there is no need to replace them (other than for looks?), so the job should cost less than $100 easy.

+1 with one exception. There is no need to replace the rotors unless they are damaged or they are under spec. There is a minimum thickness stamped on the rotor. They should be checked to make sure you still have a bit of meat left on them. 12k should not have destroyed them yet. Just a good set of pads should be all you need.
