Just make sure you're around the Gatlinburg area anytime between September 21st through the 25th and you may get a chance to ride on one. There is a HUGE Spyder owners rally going on that week that we're goign to be there for which includes a ride on The Dragon.

We are riding from San Francisco along US-50 from the Sacramento area and then we are going to hit I-70 in Utah all the way to Indianapolis. Then we are riding down from Indy to Gatlinburg, TN for the rally. After that we will be riding the southern route along I-40 and Route 66 home. About 5500 miles round trip and 17 states. We are taking 18 days to do the trip and giving ourselves 4 -5 days to get there and 4 -5 days to return.

Son of a B!

I'm thinking about riding to Denver from Indy for the Mile High Music Festival... but I doubt I will. Not sure I could take that much of a beating from my baby.

PS I-70 from Denver to Indy is the single most boring stretch of road on earth... I've done it many times.

To the topic at hand; I've definitely had that reaction. Again, not from stranger though, just my friends. I really hope one of them actually gets a bike soon, cause it gets pretty lonely out on the country side.

Nobody I know rides either. One friend at work days, but he rides a Harley Road King, and it's just too different a dynamic.

Yeah so, what's your point? It's totally worth it.

I'll also have a rider that I'll be switching back and forth with, so I guess that's cheating too huh?

Thank you. Some of the other Ninja women should follow suit as well. Trust me I won't be the least bit disapointed to see the pics.

I usually get asked how big it is and that it is a nice bike. I went for a hard ride round the local twisties here and the bikers at the rest stop heard me comming and were watching for me, I came ripping into the rest stop and they came over asking if it was a 600 and did not believe me till I showed them the registration saying it was a 250

The "you have a headlight out" always annoys me, if I don't have my helmet on I flick highbeam and smile, they move along quite fast

I get the "is that a 600?" question so much that I just tell them "yeah, I'm working my way up to a litre bike."

When I first saw the bike I thought it had a headlight out too.... until I read the owners manual.

Dual headlights have been around for so long, you'd figure everyone already knows what the deal is. So I was really surprised the other day when a mechanic I know who rides (American Iron chopper) said he thought I had a headlight out.

I surprised so many people with bigger bikes still think this bike is a 600. I wonder if they still would if the bike had a stock exhaust.

Why can the manufacturers not make dual headlights with both lights on high and low...

People always ask me when I am going to 'upgrade' to a 600. I tell them I upgraded from a 600 to my 250.

My little bike gives me such confidence in it. It handles VERY well, and is extremely stable at higher speeds on the freeway.

I am even beginning to enjoy riding my Lil Feller on the freeway, even though the freeway used to make me want to vomit.

(my near deadly accident was on the freeway)
