[visordown.com] - New Mivv exhausts released for CB500 range
Ghibli Short GP Suono ITALIAN exhaust manufacturers Mivv have created three slip-on end cans that will fit Honda's 500 range: the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. Official pictures have been released, showing all three exhaust options: Ghibli, Short GP and Suono Steel back. Mivv claim that all three exhausts produce increases in peak horsepower with dyno results showing a 0.3hp increase from the Ghibli, 1hp increase from the Short GP and a 1.4hp increase from the Suono. The Ghibli is made from 100% stainless steel. The Short GP is manufactured from stainless steel, carbon fibre and titanium. The Suono is made from stainless steel with a carbon fibre mounting bracket. Mivv say: “before the end of the year, customers will be able to purchase the manifolds” which they claim will reduce the weight of the bike by 3kg and remove the catalyser. Prices are yet to be announced.
