This one is one of those "@#&*(@# happens" incidents. The truck was already moving before the bike came into view, but with a trailer the driver was taking it very easy when getting into the road. Tough intersection, which is why there is that sign prior to the corner warning that there is a road coming up on the right. We need to be covering the brake and assuming there is exactly such an obstacle right around the bend, on the off-chance that there might be.
