Ontario License Expired

I got my M2 license under 2 years ago. My G license just expired a couple days ago but on the card it says GM2. Do they both expire at the same time or is my M2 still good?

Presuming Ontario Canada, are licenses like the States where when the license expires, everything expires? I would guess if there is only one expiration date on the license, then all endorsements go with it.

Probably best to contact your local Motor Vehicle place to find out.

Your licence is expired (all of them).

Your M2 isn't "good for 5 years", that's simply the maximum time you're allowed to keep your M2 endorsement. You still need to renew your licence before the expiry date on your card.

Receiving a new endorsement does not renew your licence.

No, just renew it online http://www.ontario.ca/driving-and-roads/drivers-licence or go to Service Ontario.

OK, so I'm completely wrong. I read up on it a little more and your M2 is in fact still valid for 5 years from the date it was issued, regardless of the expiry date on your DL.

My mistake.

Either way... go renew your G :P

I have family living in the GTA and he doesn't have his license yet (18) just because of how complicated and messy it is just for him to get it done. I don't get why licensing should be so complicated it's pretty straight forward in Sask.
