Many Thanks (Wish Me Luck)

Hey every body! I turned 16 today meaning I'm the eligible age for my motorcycle permit. I just wanna say thank you to all the information on this site, its helped me with riding technique as well as reviving the current bike i own. Again, I'm so grateful this site exists. Special thanks to @Alex and @Ghostt, Alex for upkeep and Ghostt for all the help in the pregen forums, Thanks.

-Kamren

P.S. @Alex, my bad bro, didn't realize it wasn't in General....

Glad I could help, good luck and remember a permit doesn't replace your brain.

Ive got majority of my safety gear (Good Helmet, Combat boot, CE App. Jacket) now I'm saving for my pants, any good choices? And as for the MSF course, that'll come down the road before i get my actual license

Congratulations, Kamren !!!
I wish you a long motorcycling career.

If you become a street rider, create and keep a good riding strategy and use it for each ride: that will be your first line of defense.
Riding skills will be your second line and protecting gear will be your third and last hope when the first and second protective layers have failed to keep you out of dangerous situations.

You are welcome

Wise not much, but old and traveller of many roads accumulating almost an infinite number of miles.

What I have tried to do at this friendly site is to pass most of what I have learned during many years around motorcycles on young riders.

I am trying to state that a long and rewarding motorcycling career with a minimum number of misshaps and accidents is not a myth, because I have lived such experience.
The general idea of motorcycle riders being crazy suicidal young guys inevitably heading to bad accidents does not have to be true.

Any inteligent rider that constantly learns how to respect his/her machine, the traffic, the road, the weather and his/her own limits can enjoy a lifetime of this fantastic experience.
