----------------- 2024 Jerez MotoGP Warm Up Result: Alex Marquez Tops Red Flagged Session Although the weather behaved overnight, the crashes didn’t stop in the premier class and this time it was Pedro Acosta not-so-gently hugging the air fence at turn 7 that prompted a red flag with 53 seconds left of the warm-up session. The rookie was a bit shaken but able to return to pitlane while the air fence got re-deployed, although the session wasn’t restarted and Alex Marquez kept his spot at the top of the timesheets after only a handful of laps.
