WTB: Clean Title Frame
I've acquired a decent looking 2001 Kawasaki Ninja 250R for super cheap, and even cheaper than the agree upon price if the owner was to get the title fixed and once doing that I would give him the rest of the $ we agreed on. Well of course he fell through.
No the bike is not stolen, but I can't title/register a bike in Illinois with just a bill of sale from him so I'm currently SOL. I can easily recoup my money but parting out, but would prefer to have a whole bike. So here I am...I just need the frame itself with a clean and clear title. So shoot me a price. Thanks |

I'm in the process. I put down the same VIN on the bill of sale for two of the three Ninjas I bought from a guy in a package deal. Once I get that straightened out, that's how I'm going to title the bike. It had a bonded title from Mississippi, but Louisiana doesn't accept bonded titles so I got it cheap - $800 for all three. Only one of them runs currently.

Give these guys a call, if you don't see one listed. They seem to specialize in wrecked bikes.

I'm currently giving away a frame. I have a clean title for it but it's not in my name. I could not get it in my name because someone signed the notary line without a notary stamp and my county wouldn't title it. Ended up not needing the frame anyways so I just didn't pursue trying to title it. Not sure if you could figure out a way to get it titled or not. I haven't looked into it. I'm probably not of any help. |

The Vermont deal works pretty good I used it to title my wife's 95 ninjette... I think there's a year cut off though I think it has to go back 15 years but I can't remember...
