Another point about the sticker - if your bike is left outside, that nice red is going to be a pale pink inside of 6 months. I had one on my truck. I also had a sticker on my windscreen of my previous bike. PITA to get it back off without scratching the crap out of the plastic.

The stickers gone now. I liked it, but wasn't really happy with the positioning of it. I took it off to try and center it more on the windscreen and ended up stretching out the sticker when I pulled it off. It didn't lay the same after that, so I scrapped it. I wasn't too disappointed about it, since I got a silver "Kawasaki" decal when I bought my "250R" decals. So that's sitting nicely on my windscreen now. When I get a chance, I'll post a pic.

Nice work on your 250!

How do you like the bike lowered?
How much did you lower Front/back?
Any problems handling?
What's your inseam, or how tall are you?

I'm probably not the best person to ask about the handling. I didn't really ride that much at first because I felt uncomfortable, like my legs couldn't support it tippy toed. I dropped the bike twice before lowering it, and I think it was because my feet weren't there to support the bike whenever it leaned slightly. Both times happened while coming to a stop. I can tell you one thing though, lowering it has completely increased my confidence and I actually enjoy riding it now. Before I always felt on edge. I wish I would've of lowered it right away instead of waiting. Haven't dropped it since. I lowered the front and back the same, 1". From what i've read on the forum, as long as you do the front and back the same, there is not much of a difference handling wise. I'm not really short. I'm 5'2". Not sure what my inseam is though. Pant lengths are probably between a size 28 and 30.

a girly bling mod

i needed somewhere to put my stuff when i ride n i don't like the look of tank bags and such so this is what i came up with.. the cowl holds it in place and it matches the bike!

I went ahead and lowered my bike as well ( 1" front and back )
I did this myself, was very easy to do. I can't report any riding feedback but it just feels so much better with my feet closer to the ground. I'm 5' 6" w/ a 29" inseam. I could almost flat foot the bike before with boots, and now I can at a much wider stance. I think this will help out allot when learning how to ride.

Your bike looks AWESOME! I did the same thing you did and replaced all my bulbs with LEDs, only I used green behind the guages

The green looks good. Bet it matches your motorcycle very well.

I thought about going red with mine, but I liked the way the white stood out better.

I bought HIDs for my car at DDMtuning too, although I installed projectors at the same time. The slim ballast "raptor" kit is only $30. Don't use the mounting tape that comes with it unless you want to be dragging the ballasts behind you (guess how I know this). I've mounted heavier ballasts before with 3M car mounting tape and that stuff never failed. The mounting tape they supply with the kits is not to be trusted.

Although the ballasts are epoxy filled so none of the internal parts were damaged.

^^^ That's the same place I got mine. Same kit. It's sold as a car kit, but is universal and can be used on our bikes as well, as long as you order the correct socket. I used the tape that was provided with the kit, but I also used black zip ties around the ballasts, to secure them. The tape has gotten a little loose, but the ballasts haven't gone anywhere, since the zip ties are supporting them.

Nice!

Good looking bike you got there Nattygirl!

BTW, how was your experience with Projekt D for your Fender Eliminator? Would you do business with them again?

I'm am thinking about going with them when I am ready to get a Fender Eliminator for my Ninjette.

My transaction with them went really smoothly. I'd buy another if I had to. I prefer this FE over others because it truly is no-cut and it completely covers underneath the tail-light. It looks as good now as it did on day 1.

I like it because you can utilize the stock turn signals and license plate light

Very nice mods. Mine almost looks the same. Great job! We gotta ride soon. I know 2 others guys with the same exact bike as ours. If we all get together that would be a cool photo shoot.

Yeah, I like modding things. I've gone led crazy on my car and pretty much am going led crazy with my bike as well. I'd love to meet up, but I don't think I'm going to be riding much lately. Just recently found out I'm expecting, so I probably won't be riding the ninja for a while. I really don't get to ride it that much to begin with. Only got 257 miles on it. But it's not worth the risk to me right now. My husband actually wants me to sell it, but I've invested so much money into it, I'd be at a major loss. At least that's my excuse to my husband on why I'm keeping it.

It's been a while since I've posted. Done a few more things since then. Little things, but farkles none the less.

Installed some Red/Black Ebay Foldable/Adjustable Levers

Installed Black Solo Cowl. I also covered the rubber with Carbon Fiber Material. I'll be rewrapping it soon, cause I wasn't really happy with the way I installed it.

I switched my windscreen to a Black Hotbodies Windscreen. I had scratched the Puig one when I removed the windscreen sticker, so I sold it and bought a new one.

I added red passenger pegs.

Got some red tire caps.

Got a red Oil Cap

The finished product!

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I think I'm pretty much just about complete now with my mods. I'm feeling pretty good about the way it turned out. Only mod left is my rear hugger, and it's on it's way to me, so hopefully my next post will be pics of it installed.

Yeah, I really wish I could've met up with u all at the last meet. It was probably the closest meet to me. Since then, I've found out that I'm pregnant though, so I'll be staying off the ninja for a while I don't want to risk possibly getting hurt right now.
