Got my new lid & wow!!!
Shoei or Suomy didn't fit the shape of my head well but the AGV fits like a glove & is so light & quiet,i cant believe the difference.
I found the Wiki info very usefull & some things i had never considered but visible colors makes perfect sense.
All my past helmets have been solid colors so now the wife thinks i am having a mid life crisis but i love the graphics.
The build quality & finish is top notch.
Being imported it cost approx double the regular price but compared to locally available items, its cheap if i ever need to test it.

I like this one! It's like, a super bargain! it's only 100 bucks at revzilla and mss. And it's ECE 22.05 certified and it looks pretty sweet. Might be my first helmet! I guess I kind of need a bike first though...

You also need to make sure it fits you properly before you get sold on the price as well. Certifications are great, but it's important that the helmet fits you so that it can work as designed.

This is a easy answer. If you get a dual sport, the AFX DS39 is most likely the BEST dual sport helmet on the market tbh (its the same helmet as the FLY only cheaper) Also, heres this if you want to knock it as a "off" brand

If you're getting a supermoto, the icon no question, it was made for the road. I own a variant, and like it. It's become my main helmet to replace my EXO500. So I can definitely recommend it.

Yeah definitely! I was looking at the revzilla reviews. Idk if I have an Arai head, or an HJC head! I'll just need to go to a stealership and try some on to see what I like most!

Yep DRZ400SM. Hopefully tonight. Thats actually the only one Ive tried on. I may go to Cycle Gear or something and see if they have an AGV one to try on.
and yeah good point if it was a dual sport. the last two seem to be the best if you want to wear goggles.

Yea unlike the variant, the AFX and FLY helmet(s) have openings to work with the goggles that allows you to close the face shield while wearing them. Which is very nice

What's the purpose of goggles if you have the face shield down?

i'm in between a M/L on Bell helmets, should I go tighter and break-in or comfortable from the get go. The medium isn't painful but it's def snug.

Go with the smallest one that fits and isn't painful. Remember this thing has to not allow your head to move side to side or back and forth or twist while wearing it. It also shouldn't come off.

My helmet is a small. Even after break-in, it's a glove for my head. Perfectly snug and doesn't move around at all, but at the same time, it fits every contour of my head and has no pressure points. It was worth the hassle of trying on every helmet that I could find at my local dealer.

Dust etc can enter the helmet even when the face shield is down, so when off road a face shield really isn't the best option. Since the goggles are flush with your face, they eliminate all dust or w/e that enters the helmet.
