tape works rim strips, i got the star kit there as well. the color matches the bike perfectly. but mine is the '08 so it's a different blue than the '09. if you order just make sure you tell them what year make and model, and they will match it pretty damn close.

Very unique bike. LOVE the super-reflective vinyls.
Eagerly awaiting the angeleyes shots. Every set I've seen thusfar with stock headlights was nigh invisible.

the only thing that sucks about the angel eyes is, i got them in blue, but when the bright headlight goes through it turns the angel eyes to looking more like a white light than a blue light. so if my low beams are on i have one blue and one white, but if high beams are on, both look white. kinda annoying but i dunno if i did something wrong or what. and they are a royal pain in the ass to put in, just becareful not to screw up on it.

pretty sure it's not your fault, just the output of the 'eye' light being completely overwhelmed by the headlight output.

Before I bought my ninjette I saw those advertised from TapeWorks in the back of the '08 Ninja 250 review issue of Cycle World. I wanted a black bike and thought that those could counteract the safety issue so that I wasn't too "stealth." I mentioned it on a couple forums and people made fun of me for even suggesting them (BeginnerBikers.org or Kawiforums) saying that they would be hideous. *shrug* I ended up with blue and now I see that they would have been awesome.

dont listen to what people say, it's your bike, you make it how you want it to look. being original always gets more attention, than having a stick up your ass, lol. screw those people. i was worried it would look bad too, but hey, if i didn't try it, then i'd never know. i think the black bike with pink stars looks bad. but this came out pretty damn good, and i put them on myself. pain in the ass, but live and learn. next time i'm doing it the wet way.
