Title info help
Hey there folks,
I'm trying to obtain a title for my ninjette (I've been riding with my scooter's tag ) and I'm just wondering if the model for my 2009 ninja is EX250R or EX250 or EX250-J or just 250R? What do you guys have as a model type on your titles? Thanks in advance. |

If you bought the bike from a private seller and they didn't have the title in hand, worst case scenario is it's a stolen bike. If the person lost the title, you might need to do a bit of paperwork and lose a bit of your soul at the dmv.

No, the bike's clean. Called the Sheriff's office, had them do a VIN check and they said it's good, i.e. never stolen. The title was issued in MO and the seller is trying to put it into his name (it was initially in his "company's" name when he bought it). The DMV people in MO want a VIN verification done and I'm going to go to the DMV today to have it inspected ( going to go commando and remove the tag before the inspection ) and hopefully that will sort out the issue and seller can send me the title (now in his name) and I can change it to mine....at least that's the idea.

Sounds like you're all set then. I think all models 2008+ are ex250j. Have fun at the dmv. I died a little inside waiting in line about 20 just to talk to the teller for 3 min.
