Finished up a season of hillclimbing with my RS. Here are a couple pictures.
Next year I will have about 100 extra hp, and am planning on switching from 225 width tires to 275s. Also will have more noise. Every corner worker tells me they can't even hear me coming now, with the stock exhaust. |

Love that there are so many scoobie owners on this website. Makes me feel really guilty for the lack of behind the wheel time mine has been getting lately though.

Winter's coming, no need to feel guilty. That's what Subies are made for (though mine will be in the garage all winter).

finally finished my new head..kinda took my time lol, alot of time hand working the bowls, then takin it for CNC finishing and flowing. upgrade valves and springs as well as some spicey cams(31whp drop in!) did some refreshing in the bay, hide some wires, had some things repainted and finally got around to coating some stuff. came out pretty cool.

Wow, after looking at all of these incredible cars it certainly appears that I have spent most of my life in a different tax bracket than most of you!!
I won't bother making a list of the crappy cars that I have had over the years... Except there is the one vehicle that got away! After high school I bought a 78 VW Bus that was an Adventure Wagon conversion. It was sweet! It felt like being in the cabin of a sail boat inside. I pulled the whole thing apart in my parents drive way and rebuilt it, had it painted and promptly took off for back to back Dead tours. I lived it in for a few years and drove it to just about every state. I also had a few other camper buses later but this is one I wish I would have kept. Such a stealth little sleeper, you could park any where and you were always home. If you see it let me know. I want take my kid for a cross country camping trip. My wife just got a Mini Cooper S. It is super fun to drive (and she even lets me drive it). We also have a Suzuki SX4. It is not fun to drive but I think it is the cheapest all-wheel drive car you can get which has been great for the snow. It is also the same car that they make fun of in Top Gear USA |

No! Anything but red . Preferably 09 SE green/white/black or blue .
p.s. I didn't intend to "diss" red 250's, it's just that they are obviously the fastest and I don't want a red one because I don't wanna go 100mph in first gear

Dude kkim LOVE the nsx! I've seen one around town once. Turned the ninja around and chased it down to get a better look.
My criteria for choosing cars are as follows: 4 wheels. runs. inexpensive. The result of this strenuous search?! My parents' old '95 civic. () The best part is, it's free, runs, has a sunroof, and starts every time I ask it to, even when it's 5 degrees and 2 feet of snow on the ground. Honda's are awesome |

Chris,
I had loved the NSX all my life since they came out with them, so when I had an the opportunity to buy one, I did. What I learned was that it was a completely different driving/owning experience than what I had imagined. Yes, it was a high quality, superbly built machine that handled relatively well, but for all it's history and sex appeal, I soon learned that it just wasn't the car for me after a few years. I say this only to tell you this... always keep goals as your targets, but don't be surprised when your dreams are realized that they are nothing as you imagined they would be. Today, I'm happy with my garage full of bikes to tinker with and really enjoy driving and owning this... |

Yepp. My civic just turned 186,000 a couple weeks back. We're the first owners. Original clutch. Does everything I ask of it, even managed to get me moving fast enough to get a speeding ticket. 65 in a 40. (but officer I was going dowm this big long hill...)
yeah my goals for cars aren't terribly lofty. I want a wrx sti. It's fun and hopefully still practical. Definitely within reach |

That is officially one of the sickest looking STi's I've ever seen. Nice work. It doesn't look like a tuner, but not necessarily sleeper either. I like the fog lights on the front bumper though. That's just me

I was into cars until I got my first bike. The interest just faded away. I look at cars for just practicality these days. Groceries and toting the kids around ... stuff like that.

I think most people read the word Porsche and automatically think supercar, and it just isn't necessarily true. The Cayman is the everyman's Porsche; it isn't anything like the engineering marvel the 911 or GT series cars are. People also make the mistake of forgetting about real horsepower, or wheel hp. On bikes, it seems to be second nature, but with cars, well what the manufacturer states is set in stone. Very basic example: You have a car that makes 300 hp that is rear drive, it could lose up to 20% of that to the wheels. A front driver 200 hp vehicle could lose as little as 10%. So actual power differences could be as low as 60 hp, not 100 hp. And most people conveniently forget power-to-weight ratios as well. If the 200 hp car weighs 500 lbs less, then that evens the playing field that much more. Pictures: '07 GTI, '06 350Z, '06 Jeep Liberty. I traded the Z in on the GTI, and the Jeep was a lease and we chose not to purchase it. These are the only pictures I have on hand, but I do think I have pictures other vehicles I have owned somewhere.

I don't have a motorcycle anymore, but I've moved my cars around.
My DD is a 2004 Audi Allroad. 2.7 biturbo. Not stock, although it appears to be. Twin BW K04s, supporting mods, lots of boost. Over 400 horses as she sits. This summer, I'm putting on larger SMICs, bigger objectors and fuel pump and a few other odds and ends. With a good dyno tune at MAC, I should be able to break 500 horses. I sold my Trailblazer SS, made a huge pile of cash and paid off the Audi, then leased my wife a 2011 Nissan Juke SL Turbo AWD.188hp 1.6L with nag, leather, heated seats, XM, Bluetooth, etc. It'll be getting intake, exhaust and a tune in a month or so. Fun little car. 31 mpg. |
