RIP cbr hugger

So i had a new set of sport demons put on the bike. My mechanic was nice enough to either not notice or not tell me that they were just big enough to be rubbing against the cbr hugged I put in the bike. Fast forward 230 miles from his shop to my house and most of my hugged has melted. Considering modding another cbr hugger, but I'm wondering if anyone has played with anything else. Ninja 300 hugger or eBay hugger for the 08+ 250?

You have to consider anything with the word demons in it might have consequences!

Tires expand when they get hot while riding. It may have looked like there was enough room. Don't be upset that you chose to install a larger tire that interfered with something you added to the bike that wasn't original equipment.
