Busy day! Sold 250 bought a ZX6R

I really hated to let the 250 go, but just don't have room for more then one bike at this point. Got a decent deal on a leftovr 2012 ZX6R Only have put 30 miles on it, but I really am loving this beauty so far.

Everyone getting zixxers! After your 40 miles, how do you feel on the bike? I'll be honest, my 636 didn't warm up to me until I got around 300 miles in. It just felt like the bike was in charge instead of me in a way. Now that I'm really comfortable on the bike, I love it to absolute death.

I am at a little over 200 miles now, and to be honest after a good day on it I started feeling a lot more comfortable.

My 250 wouldn't fit in the garage when I added the ZX6R, so it too had to go.

I rarely miss it.....

You didn't have the ZX6R for very long. Hope you didn't loose too much money when you got rid of it. Poor ZX6R - I bet it was sad when you let it go.

What changed your mind? Was it not comfortable/too fast/tickets/insurance? Or did you just want a change?

Congrats on the Bolt. It's a cool bike. I have watched and read up on it. I like it. Did you get the upgraded version or standard? I thought the upgrade wasn't that much more, but I could be wrong. I liked the comparison video I saw on it vs a Kawasaki cruiser. It was better it a lot of ways.

Pretty big change. How do you like the cruiser in comparison to a sport bike? Any pics yet?

I am really curious about the change as well. Like C-Dog had already asked; how do you like the cruiser in comparison to the 250 and ZX-6R? Why the change of heart?

I had the privilege of test riding the bolt R spec. I had a lot of nostalgia flash backs of the Nightster I had. I have/had a dream of eventually having one again but after riding the Bolt R-spec...

Well I got rid of the ZX6r mainly due to my aging body!! LoL as well as the style of riding I have been doing!! Don't really see me hitting the track anytime soon and my license would have prob been gone in a few months! The bobber/cruiser just fits me better at this point!! Didn't lose a lot of money I got payoff for the zx6r and a couple hundred off the Bolt!

I can understand that. Putting down a lot of miles at a rip is just easier to do on a cruiser and the riding position is just easier on the body (IMHO). Hell, those are some of the reasons I intend to hang on to my cruiser as long as I can. The Bolt is a gorgeous bike. Congrats on the new ride!
