On to another stage in Motos
I have made the decision to move on from a sportbike stance and am now a proud owner of a 2007 Harley Davidson Sportster XL1200C. As much as I loved riding and taking corners fast, this move was for the best for me. Easier on the back and much more comfortable. With 1200cc's, it doesn't leave me wanting more.
I had a blast with everyone on this forum. Learned a lot from everyone here. Safe riding to all. |

I sat on a Vmax once. Not sure how anyone considers those comfortable compared to something like a 250 haha. Everything felt like a stretch!
Grats on the Sportster! The best Harley makes imo.

Harleys rock. Don't forget to upgrade suspension and brakes.

Upgrades will come later. I want to make sure this is THE bike I am going to keep for a while. Since June of last year, this is my third bike.

How can you tell if it isn't set up right?

I meant, before I start pouring $$$ into it, I want to make sure this is the one I want to keep. I'd really love a Vrod/nightrod, but too expensive for now.
If I decide to keep it(which is likely for at least a few years), I will be converting to dual front discs, and a beefier suspension for the two-up rides. My wife is more comfortable riding on this than the 250, so I need to set it up accordingly. |

I got a 2008 shadow spirit 750 two weeks ago and I love it. The comfy factor and the low end torque sold me on a cruiser
