Throttle Tube Mod: anyone done this?

So i saw this on youtube a while ago and was interested but knew i would be doing some handlebar mods soon so i waited. now ive mounted my WC clipons and put on a carbon fiber throttle tube w grips molded onto it. the throttle now has a lil play that i want to correct. i will look into adjusting throttle cable (which i have never done) but also may do this mod as well.

Personally I tried this and failed. I used a regular zip tie and tried 4 times to get it to work, glue always came off. I prepped the area and zip tie with sanding and alcohol glue the zip tie down and clamped it all in place over night but any pressure seemed to pop them right off. I ended up giving up on it. I might try the pvc cap cut to fit down the road but the zip tie seem to give me trouble, maybe you will have better luck.

yea i saw that thread after posting the youtube vid link. i prefer video of course so i can have it explained and walk thru as i watch it.

im gonna give it a try, i'll let u know how it goes.
