What's the difference...

Hi! Can anyone tell me what the difference is between a Ninja 400 and a Ninja 400 Performance?

Both are sold in the UK in either Black or KRT colours, but there doesn't seem to be any info online about the differences - not even on the 'compare models' on the Kawasaki UK website... and yet the Performance model sells for around £500 more. At first I thought the Performance model had ABS as an extra, but looking online Kawasaki dealers have the 'basic' model listed as having ABS as standard... confused...

Thanks.

Looks like it comes with a tank pad, Akrapovic slip-on exhaust, and the rear seat cowl.

Essentially the same as the difference between a white dog poo and a brown one.

Is that on the UK model though?

So... a different colour, styled on the 80s, and a bit smelly?

I'm sure you can buy them on their own as well. It looks like the performance model just throws in all those things as a package since the Key Features section of the Ninja 400 Performance page lists all 3 of those things. Based on MSRP of the individual parts, it seems like a better deal getting those parts in the performance package rather than purchasing them separately later.

Are they the same license class?

On the UK web site the Ninja 400 Performance has an A2 next to it.

I don't know if you can get them/use them in the UK, but Coffman's has a pretty awesome slip on. Linky:

I have liked the look and sound of these exhausts ever since I came across them. When I get my 400 (hopefully) this will be my first mod. Also-these are made in the USA!
