Why do you want one? The mighty Ninja 250 doesn't really need one, if you're getting head shake, there's probably an issue with your bike that can be corrected, suspension, wheel balance, something like that.

Not saying you shouldn't get one, but if you have an issue that you're trying to solve, look for the real cause first.

One of the reasons is where I just moved the roads ar a little less than paved glass (dirt) and the narrow 110 on front finds every imperfection on the road and wants to follow it, and the 1 hr run at 70 to town . My new neighbor has an older 250 with a stableizer on his (that was already on it when he purchased it) and it is like nite and day! I see many on amazon but it's almost a month out and not getting any warmer here in Nevada. Also I'll be riding all winter as well, shy of a foot of snow and other obvious road conditions that come with the season

To answer the other question, she actually runs quite smooth in town and on the highway so I know there isn't a front end issue, at least that I can see or feel.

Thanks, for the input! I ordered that rotary unit, black with red accent will go well with the bike too! Doesn't look complicated to install, other than the time consuming removal of plastics and tank like all other dampers, looking forward to the difference!

With single adjustment, it should be easier to set-up than Scotts. That was always downfall of that unit, too complicated to dial in with its multiple adjustments.

Thank you. So I have it installed, however I had to use the factory bolt to put it on being the one that came with it was smaller in diameter, after 30 minutes of tightning the bolt and trying to keep the housing straight with the bars I thought I had it!!! Well now I roll down the road and when I hit a bump you can feel like an 1/8" play up and down in the steering. Only on the bumps like on and off curbs. Everything including the steering is fine, please help what do I need to do to fix it?!

When re-installing, make sure you DO NOT tighten fork-tube clamps until very end.

Do everything with adjustment rings, damper and centre bolt first. Then tighten fork-tube clamps at very end.

Can you post instructions somewhere? Or are they available online?
