Back again for advice
I know this has been discussed I've been reading for days now but I can't figure out what I want to do. I'm wanting a bigger carb that's not as restrictive as my stock carb. It's not a ninja but this is one of my favorite forms since I had mine.
It's single cylinder CVT, my question is, keeping a CV style carb and going from 30mm to a 32 or 34mm CV carb. Or going to a slide carb and staying at 30mm or upgrade it to 32mm slide. I've read they're better in performance in low end with better air flow. I'm just not sure exactly what to go with. |

Typically, going larger will kill low-end and improve top-end.
You've seen those guys at race track whose job is to hold throttle open and keep on blipping it so engine doesn't die while racer suits up. That's what you get for tuning for top-end power. It's careful balance obtained from lots of dyno-tuning and wideband O2-sensor. |

I understand but would a 30mm slide be better then the stock 30mm CV carb?

If you can, go with slide type. Should be better throttle-response and slightly more power.
