Max Biaggi and Team Aprilia Alitalia Earn Dual Victories at the 2010 World Superbike Championship

Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team shows off it technical and competitive strengths in MonzaNEW YORK, NY - May 11, 2010 - Aprilia USA, the North American importer and distributor of award-winning Aprilia sport bikes, proudly announces and congratulates Team Aprilia Alitalia's back-to-back victories at the 2010 World Superbike Championship in Monza, Italy, on May 8-9. Aprilia's marquee rider, Max Biaggi, took home a double win in Monza for the second time this season, the first being in the Portimao circuit. Thanks to the triumph this weekend, Biaggi secured his second-place position in the rider standings at 178, trailing Leon Haslam of Team Suzuki Alstare by three points. Currently, Team Aprilia Alitalia holds the first place standing in the world manufacturer rankings, three points ahead of Suzuki and 35 ahead of Ducati.
