Factory Pro Jet Kit and K&N Pod Filter

I bought these plus a wet cover for the pod filter a couple of months ago from another member but haven't used them, so they are still brand new.

Looking for $120 USD + shipping to wherever you are.

Both items are new, the jet kit is still in it's shrink wrap. I am selling these together and will post the kit's version and pics later today.

It is the 3.0 kit and looks exactly the same as the pic from the thread I bought 'em off.

Got the PM.

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I was interested in the pod filter. However after learning it was blue, prolly not a good choice for my green bike. Thanks for the fast response though. I have the same jet kit and filter already and love them!

The kit is designed (jets etc sized for) a bike with pods instead of the airbox, so it makes sense they go together. If one knows what one is doing then I suppose it doesn't matter, but I'd hope someone doesn't buy this kit then wonder why it is a bitch to tune.

Anyway, I digress.

Well I already have the K&N pod filter (gotta love ebay) so I only need the jet kit. GL with the sale.

The jet kit itself isn't too hard to install however it's designed for use with a airbox delete and pod filters, where a single or pair of air filters replaces the stock airbox. It's the airbox removal that requires tearing your bike half-apart which is definately not that easy.

If you are getting a slip-on, I'd suggest you pull the snorkel off your airbox and shim your current carb. needles. Check the DIY forum for walk-throughs on those which are both easy jobs and basically no-cost.

so I won't need the jet kit?
I read about the stock airbox snorkel and the carb needle shimming with the washers and sounds like i MIGHT be able to do it maybe with another friend...

If you are just putting on a slip-on muffler, shimming the stock needles will work fine, no jet kit needed.
