Water-free cleaning products?
Hey guys. Since my bike is real pissy when it gets wet, I decided to start looking for a water free cleaning product. I know there are a lot of them out there but I'm wondering what the best one is to get. I've heard a lot of people use this stuff so it seems like the best option for me.
I would appreciate it greatly if you pointed me in the right direction. Thanks! |

On the painted and gauge areas and windscreen, and I usually use a micro-fiber towel and a quick detailer (various brands), then Plexus. Sometimes a spray wax afterwards.

this is the best stuff, any sort of spray like this will make your bike look nice. Any local bike shop should have this. I just it on mine with a micro fiber cloth. Just stay away from the seat bc it tends to get a little slippery when you first sit down, but it will rub off. |

Might I suggest bucket/hand washing with a car or motorcycle soap, microfiber towel (lightly wrung out) for hard stains ( oil, grease, tar, mud & bugs) and an application of Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish after washing and drying.
You may or may not see the Honda Spray Cleaner and Polish in it's original can (smaller can above), but a new one (larger can), as it was discontinued for a while. You will find it at most dealers. The stuff is great and has been around a long time. I use it on the bike and car. Does just what it says, but you may use alot of cleaner on harder bugs and dirt. I've used a few different waterless cleaners on cars, trucks and motorcycles. They all worked fairly good but some washing just requires water. |
