2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250 problem

I bought this off a salvage insurance auction.
It didnt start when they delivered it so i put some starting fluid in the combustion chamber and it started then died. did pwnsjones' video on how to clean a carb the easy way and it started up after repetitively starting it up after it dies. after it got warm it would idle on choke and out of choke it would die. browsed google for solutions on how to clean carb without taking carb out and i found some people have luck with seafoam. I bought some sea foam and poured it into the tank with some gas ontop. mixed it and started it up. it ran but little bit of throttle it dies. today i took the entire thing apart. cleaned the carbs from the carb bowls to the diaphragm caps. it started with some starting fluid and idled like how it is in the video. the gas inside might be old because it was inside when it was delivered. added seafoam to that old gas could it cause this problem?

Welcome Roman!

It sounds like you got the fuel issue fixed based on your revs. You have an air problem somewhere. Start with checking the following;

Exhaust ports (where the headers connect to the engine)
Any other exhausts leaks?
Airbox & filter
Carb Boots (intake and airbox side) make sure they are sealed all the way around
Any loose hoses to the carbs
Snorkle area, for clean an clear operation

We will help ya out fir sure....

Welcome

The first thing I would personally do is drain the tank and fill a gallon of new gas (don't want to fill up tank since I'm assuming you'll be moving the tank around....having a full tank isn't fun when doing that).

After cleaning the carbs, and assembling everything back together, spray a little starter fluid around the boots (airbox to carb and carb to motor) to see if there's any fluctuation in RPM.

Did you also check the air filter?

Hmmm, sometimes they need some time to wake up after a slumber and somewhat clear their throat.

Just put the video ID between the youtube tags, not the whole URL. (I fixed your post)
