Upgraded my lady - 2008 Ninja 250

So I'm full time on a bike and had this one since the beginning. Have been living in a house with a steep driveway covered with small rocks and having a lack of experience I have dropped it a couple of times. Last year I moved to another house and having more experience under the belt I decided it's time to do some work on my bike.

This is how it looked:

Getting naked

After a good clean

Adjusting the valves

Changing the gasket

Removed the air box and installed a new K&N breather

Unfortunately I didn't take any more photos during the process, but here is the list of what I have done:

Changed front and rear sprockets + new chain
Changed front and rear braking discs + new brake line
Gave a good clean inside and outside (took almost two days to clean, some parts were really dirty)
Adjusted the valves (5 out of 8 were out of range)
Drained, flushed and refilled the coolant system
Removed the air box + installed K&N air filter & breather
Removed the number plate fender
Re jetted the carbs
Installed led lights, usb port, phone mount
New grips and levers
Changed the exhaust and wrapped the pipes + radiator guard
Cleaned the forks + changed the oil and seals
Changed spark plugs
Changed oil filter + oil

Here is the finished product:

Thanks Ghostt! It's definitely feels great to have your own personalised bike. Also, you get to know your ride from inside out.

I agree with you that it's an ongoing process. Even after all that work I still want to add/change more stuff. However, it's a very enjoyable process, so I'm not complaining.

Great job on your bike as well. I like the touch of carbon fiber

Thank you, I love adding new and different things, and a long winter and cabin fever gives one a lot of ideas, trust me, I have a few coming up to do now, so keep an eye on my BLOG.

I would like to add to the photo below the line, "you need to customize it then"
