Ninja whining????

Whenever I walk out side for some reason my ninja makes this low pitch noise. It's brand new and I was wondering if it was normal and all of them do it. Or I need to get it checked out to see what the problem is.

Totally normal, it's the pressure releasing from the fuel tank cap. It's extremely common with the new-gens. There's several threads on here about it.

Mine could be sitting for weeks and it still lets out a whine every now and then.

I like to think of it as my bike's way of saying, " I miss you!"

+1 - I always thought the same thing. I usually give her a re-assuring pat when I hear her whine.

Funny - I think mine is acting like the dog as soon as he hears the leash. I hear the bike saying, "Come on - Come on - Come on - let's go - I'm ready now."

It's different for everyone. Some sound like an electronic beep, some sound like a moan or meow.
