Gearing and battery questions
Hi guys i got some questions, i want to change my bike gearing and i hear the 15/41 is the most lowered sprocket to put on the bike also my bike chain because i ride on highway and i have to rev up to 8k rpm, but also i want to reduce the rpm to don't force the engine, if someone knows a good but economic brand on ebay please share with me the link
Also i want to change the battery because i have with the battery like 4 or 5 years and i don't know what size or amps the battery need to have or that stuff Ps: my english is bad |

There will be NO MPG changes with gearing. What determines MPG is total aero-drag as determined by cA*cD. This drag does not change with gearing nor power-required to overcome that aero-drag.
For example, about 7bhp is required to push Ninja 250R through air at 100kph. With taller gearing, guess how much power is required for same speed? EXACTLY THE SAME!!! However, since HP = (TQ*RPM)/5252, instead of 8000rpms @ 60mph, using 7000rpms @60mph will require more torque. That means with taller gearing, you'll need larger throttle openings to generate same amount of HP and speed. No reduction in fuel consumed there. What will improve MPG is reducing total aero-drag. I've found installing taller windscreen (Double Bubble or Corsa), and tucking in as low as possible behind it improves mileage from 60 to 70 MPG. Also drafting big trucks as much as possible on carriageway really helps (Mythbusters did experiment confirming this). |

Battery technology is ages old (ancient Greeks had it). Chemistry is well known as is necessary care. Lead-acid battery can last 10-yrs with regular desulfating. It's secret auto-industry has been hiding to make more profits from battery sales.
There are smart chargers that have de-sulfation cycles where it tickles high-voltage +30v sine/square-wave pulses at high-frequency 1-20khz with low amperage through. Need to get over minimum activation energy to dissolve lead sulfate crystals back into solution. http://www.superstreetonline.com/how...-fact-fiction/ https://www.impactbattery.com/blog/2...racle-charger/ With monthly desulfating, batteries in my autos are reaching 10-yrs as well as 3 on my bikes. |

I use one of these with 4-way Y-split to connect 4 bikes at once: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000P23HZS
For autos, I use this with 2-way split (garage only holds 2 anyway). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Q3CM2QY |
