Best looks and mods
Hey there. I feel as if there isn't much to do to an older style ninja 250 so I thought I could get you guys to share what you have done to modernize the bike or just make it look better.
We all know the basics, get rid of the fender, flushmount signals or clear lenses, wheel tape yada yada. What I have done is eliminate the fender, integrate the turn signals. Got clear front signals Painted the silver mismatching bottom fairing black to make it look more modern, if your fairing is a different color try painting it, makes it look like a newer one for some reason. Anyways what have you guys done to your older 250 to make it look better? Share and pics are more than welcome! |

just got my ninja decals in and I just ordered "250R" ones the 250 will be kawa green and the R will be silver so it will match the front decal.
If I don't like that I will take the front kawasaki one off and replace it either on the tank or just put kawasaki lettering where it says it now. I will figure something out... |

Looking good. Where'd you pick up the clear, non-tinted, rear lenses? I can only seem to find the tinted ones.

Mine's dropped about 5mm on front from lowered risers, and the back is up about an inch from a newgen rear shock. the BT45 130 rear is also noticeably wider than the stocker. the bike looks a little more aggressive i guess... It's too bad asiancycle closed; my flushmounts really clean up the front

I have two sets of flush mounts in the front. The color matched ones on the bike are from Asiancycle. I have another set I picked up off Ebay, and swapped the lenses from the Ebay ones for my Asiancycle flush mounts.
This means they're literally identical in pretty much every way other than probably quality. I haven't run the Ebay ones, so i can't vouch for them overall, but the lenses fit perfectly to my Asiancycles and look great. That's is probably my best recommendation for your bike would be flush mount front signals, and black pipes. |
