Gixxer front end swap

My brother in law had an extra pair of gixxer 600 forks and asked if I wanted to do the swap. hell yeah!

Probably going to be getting the rest of the parts within the next month or two. Might save it for a winter project. (I live in kansas and yeah.. winters here suck.)

But with doing the front end.. I kinda want to do the rear with a gixxer swing arm and stuff too since the front will be a 120.. and the stock rear on our ninjettes are 130. I don't know just a thought. What do you guys think?!

If you have the time and money, why not...It should not matter if anyone approves or not in regards to what you want to do to your bike.

Edit: However; in short, my thoughts... you might as well buy a GSX-R instead.

i think you should replace the 120 with a 110. and keep the 250 swing arm but replace the rear shock. just opinion.

remember the wider USD gsxr forks don't fit in the fairings very well.

BUT, if you're dead set on using a wider rear tire for whatever the reason may be, you can do an Aprilla RS 250 swing arm swap.

Eh I'm not dead set on it. Yeah I'll probably put a 110 on the front. I don't really care about a wider tire on the back I love the way it handles as is. But it's not really gonna cost too much to get the whole front end pieced together. The wheel is probably the most expensive part.

Hm. I need to do more research before I tear everything apart. haha
