Aftermarket levers clutch safety switch easy fix
So a few months ago i crashed at the track and my bike wouldnt start in gear with the clutch pulled in. So i brought my bike to the shop (for other reasons) and told them to look over the clutch safety switch and see if cleaning it would fix it or if i needed a new one.
Well i got it back today and they said on the lowest setting there just wasnt enough room for the switch to activate, (the bike let me start regularly with these levers for the previous 2 years btw) and sure enough i put the setting on 2 instead of 1 and it started like normal. Baby hand problems. Just wanted to let people know if they have baby hands and aftermarket levers and this problem arises |
