We have an issue. The box you shipped me that was supposed to have the handlebar arrived EMPTY. Please respond to my PM and let's work this out. I await your response. Thanks. |

Let's not jump to conclusions. He wouldn't have strung him along if he didn't intend to sell more which, of course, would be hard to do if the very first customer had such a problem and could prove that he was a fraud.
Also, scams can work both ways and a million ways in between. How much does the postage say that it weighed? Cost? Picture of the box? Crushed, damaged, or good package condition? Sealed or opened? |

Box weighed 2 pounds when shipped. Cost me $10.76 to ship from Denver.
In my opinion, when you take an item to UPS and ask them to ship it, and it never arrives to the buyer, it is not the sellers fault or responsibility. Sure I am trying to work something out with the buyer, but why should I have to pay for something that could potentially be the shipping companies mistake. When john told me the box was empty upon arrival, I was just as confused as he was when he found it that way. |

Report it to Paypal (you never received the goods) and there's a very high probability you will win. The seller generally guarantees the risk of delivery. That's why it's the seller who holds any insurance. In other words, if the item is lost by the shipper, and it is insured, it is the seller that holds the insurance claim. |

If you don't want to take that risk, you can put the parts up in your attic, you can insist on personal pickup/"cash and carry" etc. |

Resolution Reached
David (Zyconic17) and I reached a mutually agreeable solution regarding the dispute and we worked it all out. I apologize to the seller for any misunderstanding. In my book at this point, Zyconic17 is a reputable seller who can and should be trusted here.
After following up on his PMs, I do not believe that he intended to ship an empty box. I think the item was stolen somewhere in transit via UPS. I will also be filing a claim with them. Lesson learned. |
