Noticed some tearing in a pocket on my pants, my jacket is getting a little worn, and I'm not excited about the boots I used last time on the IBR, so I ordered some new gear last night:

- Kilimanjaro Jacket (probably my 5th or 6th, I just like them. )

- Caliber overpants

- S-MX Plus Gore-Tex boots

I picked up this Dainese Air Flux jacket on closeout at Revzilla a few weeks ago. The fit is the best of any moto jacket I've ever had and it's so lightweight that even in summer heat I just leave it on sometimes.

I do wish the textile parts were a little thicker though. In a high speed getoff it wouldn't last very long but the armor seems well placed and gives peace of mind.

I'd rate it a 9/10 with one point taken off for the weak feeling textile.

Just picked up some Held Airstream II gloves. So far the right one feels a little tight but it's breaking in.

Lol!!! After all this time, I finally bought a lap timer. (time shown is bogus!!!!)

And even though I will benefit from it, I bought it for coaching purposes to track rider improvements more real time vs my gps cams.

Some lower cost gloves just to get me through the season. My A* gp plus gloves finally gave up after 2.5yrs of heavy usage.

Chris- post up a review if/when the suit arrives. I've been looking at their suits for the past and am waiting to pull the trigger until I can speak to someone I personally know who has one.

Picked up some earplugs, Sonic Defender EP4, not a huge investment but worth it for saving my hearing! Used the earplugs today for a two hour ride and they sure are comfier than the disposable ear plugs.

Nice lid! I almost got that one but I couldn't find a yellow or orange visor for it (not the shiny gold that you have but a more subtle tinted version) so I got an entirely different helmet instead. That may be my next lid though since it'll be on my shortlist until they stop making it

I just picked up this. Literally. It was in a parking lot. A friend was run off the road. He is OK and wants a Tryumph street triple . He put 31 k on the 2010 250 and said I could have it for parts.

I think it just needs a couple things like wheels and a bar. Side lights and some fairing repairs.
I THINK I have an idea for it.
If the frame is not bent I will be doing something with it. 😈

I'd be interested in finding out how that quickshifter works for you. As you can see from the sig, I've got a similar bike.

Are you going with standard or GP shift?

Got to pay to play! Tried the shock on track already, its great. Really settled the bike going from stock shock to the G3-S.

This is a strain gauge type QS and has received some great reviews! You can set it for both push or pull depending on your configuration. Its parent company is HM, the same guys who do the MotoGP and SBK QS. Ill be installing this as GP shift and really look forward to it. Ill finally be able to take turns in the gear I want to be in. I may get around to installing this weekend. I am not to pressed about it. lol

EDIT: Forgot to mention, the QS is on sale right now on ebay through Annitori for 259. This is a steal.
