Post Your Recent Pick-Ups

Just bought $560 worth of riding gear Though I bought two of the same gloves because I'm keeping whichever one looks best, and returning the other.
Protection is priceless!

My (blue) Cortech Latigo RR Gloves:

Post your recent buys!

I have the cortech latigo gloves in black, and the sevens sins jacket from s&s in black. I also have the tcx x-square boots, but I have had them for a while.

My helmet is the exo500 white and red oil. Also not recent but I don't think Ive ever mentioned that.

I just sent back an A* Bionic back protector because it was too small, and quite uncomfortable. I ended up getting the Revit Seesoft CE2 back protector. It flexes and is much more comfortable.

Anyone have these though? http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/c...tigo-rr-gloves

I've decided to go with gauntlets after a long thought about what would be best for me even though I wanted short cuffs.

I have the bionic back protector in my astars jacket, don't find it too uncomfortable but haven't really ridden much anyway. It is really stiff, though.

It was something that I could have lived with, but it was way too small. I figured small protector for a small jacket, but it was not the case. I had a RevZilla Gear Geek help me find the Revit, it will just fit in my jacket and its lighter, stronger, and more comfortable. Was only $20 more too. However, I always ride with a backpack, so not sure how the protection would be affected.

Just got my motorcycle superstore order on Friday...

Revit outback jacket, Revit enterprise over pants and a pair of Summit h2o gloves.

Unfortunately the xl gloves are way too small so they go back tomorrow.

Awesome!! Can't believe its a 2011 and you got it for $1k, that's a great deal if everything lines up right.

Ordered a pair of Held gloves. Was going to wait closer to spring since my "fun" fund in the winter goes toward snowboarding but the review by kaosbandit helped answer some questions on sizing and there was only two pairs in my size and color left in stock.

Sure, as long as you have eye protection in addition. Be warned though... they are not the most comfy or quiet of lids at speed. This is NOT my primary helmet.

I wore mine the day I bought my ninja, 45 miles at freeway speeds. It was the only helmet I had. Ear plugs are a must without a visor!

Just got one of the shipments in from my first post. The SMX Plus' are great and fit me well. On the other hand, the Drayko Renegade jeans are awful! I don't know what got into my buying these riding jeans because they are ugly, way too long (they only come in one size length, wtf? ) and almost skin tight. I don't have the biggest tree trunks but these just do not fit good at all.

Does anyone have any good riding pants to recommend for me that are ~ $150, not specifically skin tight and have just a little room in them, like a pair of levis do?

I'm thinking about getting some motocross pants, more protective than riding jeans right?

Theres a lot of information on the internet about why it's not as good as they make it seem. But that's besides the point/topic haha.

Btw I like the ZX6R's blue gas tank! It accents the white really well.
