And they fit my shogun spools!

I got these same stands off ebay, but they packed them so badly they came with the pipes sticking out of holes they'd punched in the box while being shipped. Idiots. No packing peanuts/bubbletape/newspaper inside the box either, it was like they just tossed them in. Good stands though!

I got a fieldsheer chantal jacket (turned out too big for me, but meh, only $50), Finesse's astars andes jacket, and a pair of cortech hydro gt gloves when they were $40 on motorcyclegear.com. Help I can't stop buying gear

I got mine from Amazon. I contacted the seller and they gave me 15% back for all the chips in the paint and are sending me some of the little plastic bumper things that busted in shipping.

Not bad stands for the price though. I cant get the head stand under the faring very easily though, i think thats because i lowered the bike. I'll probably just use the fork attachment instead.

I also got venom stands. Mine were packed much better. Bought from amazon - from venom I believe.

They were placed in a styrofoam block that was cutout to match the stand.

For what I paid - they're great I guess. I can't do metal work.

Would I buy them again? No.

Going with moto-d next time I think.

With you there Nick. I like them but I would spend more on better stands next time. they rock just a bit more then I would like.

New boots for the year. My previous A* boots held up great for the two crashes and just sh*t kicking I did in them.

I was driving past a yard sale and saw some MC gear for sale, so I stopped to look. ALL of the gear was my size, fit great, and is in like new condition (no crashes or funky smells).

(1) Helmet w/ three visors (Joe Rocket RKT101)
(1) Kryptonite MC chain & lock
(1) Leather and Mesh Jacket (Bilt)
(1) Pair Quilted armored winter riding pants (Frank Thomas)
(2) Pair of mesh/textile armored summer riding pants (FS & Joe Rocket)
(1) Pair leather armored riding pants (Bilt)

I took it all home for a buck fifty. Not a bad stop!

I'd cut the strap and give the helmet to a kid to play with. You don't know exactly how much it's been thumped around. That being said, I'm not one of those guys who replaces the helmet every time I drop it, but you still never know.

Got me a new back protector, forcefield blade

went out for a ride suited up with it and I didn't even feel it was there when I was in the twisties with a remarkably quick zx6r. It's very rare for me to find someone who's actually dragging knee on the road that I went to despite it being an "ideal" street place to do it.

Not exactly gear per se, but picked up the Mobius Action Camera 1080P HD Mini Sports Cam - Wide Angle Edition w/capacitor. Will be using this as an evidence camera and it will be tied to the ignition, so it starts recording continuously as soon as I start up the bike. I may buy another one, so I can get a back view too, since they are so cheap.

What do you do for the memory? Or does it send the video directly to a phone or something?

It holds a memory card, it just records over the new footage.

Picked-up this new HJC to go with the Derbi -

Also bought these 3 Scorpions off of CL for $50 for all with a few extra visors. The yellow one is fairly worn, but the others are pretty good.

Used 2015 RC 390, $5k, has 50 miles on it.

Have a deposit down for a new one but I've been waiting since January for it.

It's like christmas in May around here.

SWMBO just got a Sena SMH10 for my birthday and I just spent some year end bonus money and ordered a new summer jacket.

A RevIt Galactic and back protector.

I threw in some techspech snake skin grip pads as well.

And now the waiting begins...

Indy, about 4 hours from me.

Guy was in his 50s or so, said he bought it to do tracks days on, realized he had too many hobbies.

I use searchtempest to find items on craigslist and got lucky.

Racing it this weekend cant wait!

Which drivetrain? I think the ecodiesel option looks like the way I would go if in the market for a new truck. Either way, sweet pick up ......lol......

I am not a fan of a diesel platform for my useages. The cost of ownership is too high for me and I have 0 experience working on them. Not to mention that getting into the ecoodiesel put the truck out of my budget at near 35k with the other options I insisted on.

This one is a 2014, 5.7 hemi dual displacement 4x4 with 19k on the clock. The only things I don't like about it is that the radio is not loud enough and there is no shifter, just a stupid knob. Really loving the dual displacement though, it's getting better gas mileage than my gmc acadia suv/crossover.

10-4, that makes sense. The entry cost new vs new isn't too far off (I think like $3k on a $40K purchase) but the new vs lightly preowned is a completely different story. And the Hemi w/cylinder deactivation if likely very close capability wise in most aspects to be a wash as well. The one thing I agree on whole-heartedly that scares me as well would the the lack of experience working on a diesel. There is not much on gasoline powered engine that I have not done but yeah ...... diesel not so much. Either way, sweet truck.

Here is the real story...

Wife: I wanna get a truck
Me: No, we don't need it
Wife: Common, it will pull your bikes easier than the suv
Me: Yea, so?
Me: Ahhhh, I get it... this is your way of easing me into getting a camper too right?
Me: It's an easy NO right now because we don't have anything to pull a camper.
Wife: Well... maybe
Me: Well, let's get a truck then, IF.... you can meet me in the middle and get a toy hauler instead AND... you come to the track with me more often, since you will have more of the comforts from the camper part of the toy hauler
Wife: DEAL!

Later......

Just bought the best gloves I've ever owned!
I'm sold on Klim, I will have a pair of pants and a JAcket when I can come up with the $1500 or so it will cost!

after breaking my ring finger, among other things I decided to invest in some better gloves

Heroic SP-R Pro gloves from glen goldman, the owner of Team Pro Motion, once he heard I had holes in my gloves (he knew about my finger already as it was) he gave me a crazy good deal on these that I can't help but appreciate. As it turns out we have the same sized hands

I also have a set of Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires on the way, and some ebc HH brake pads

@csmith12 Sweet ride, I may be a ford guy but those are definitely very capable machines
