Battery Tender Quick Disconnect Plug with USB Charger

Has anyone tried one of these? It looks like an easy way to connect your phone when you are using it as a GPS.

That'll work but routing the cables would be a PITA. Your better off installing a deticated 12v port and using a regular car charger.

You can also buy USB charging ports that just have leads on them for wiring up to 12V. http://www.webbikeworld.com/r4/water...ycle-usb-port/

Depending on where your SAE plug is installed, the pictured Battery Tender version may or may not be handy, like Jason said.

I picked up one of these previously, but the bracket was way to big to fit on the handlebars, and the cable was a little short. I was thinking with the Battery Tender adapter I could run a USB cable to my Ram Mount and be good to go.

I second this, but I have this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GA-NHWC3-Har...item4cfcceda8d

It's nice cause it just comes out to a normal male micro-USB to plug into your phone. Clean because you can run it up to wherever you have your phone. I have a phone mount because I sometimes use GPS and I run it up to there.
