So I just learned of this and thought it was pretty cool. I realize its 4 years old, but still, gonna go hunt in my area and see if they're still there...

are you just looking for treasure hunting? or do you want to share some data?

a dead drop was(is) a bit of intelligence field craft used to pass information from one to another in a clandestine manner

if you just want to use your GPS to find interesting things people have left for you to find.

Geocaching is perhaps a better way to go
