I tried posting in the marketplace but wouldnt let me....WANTED: ENGINE EX250
So after my little ride to Crystal Lake some weeks back when I overheated, I went on the run around between a couple different mechanics and after so many weeks and much frustration it finally ended up in a legit shop's hands and they told me the motor was blown. Thats the short story of it all. So I am looking to get another motor put into my 93 ninja ex250. I don't have much money as I am a starving student. I got $300 towards another motor...can anyone help or know where to go? My mechanic is searching local salvage yards but I might as well put a call out to the nation. Right now I am stuck w/ pedal power and it is 10 miles one way to work. Everyday for the last few weeks since I have been on the bicycle I have been a target to hapless and clueless motorists. I usually have at least one instance each day that i am almost run over or someone not looking my way when pulling out of a driveway. Its only a matter of time before I become a statistic here in So Cal. I really need my moto back.
Unfortunately I also cant afford to sell this bike and buy another, i am stuck with what I got so no options there. Just need a good used motor that is cheap and ready to plug and play. |

You should have been able to post a new thread in the items wanted or free stuff area. But a user can't create a new for sale thread in the other three areas until they've been here at least 30 days and have at least 50 posts. (to limit the scamming/spamming of users signing up just to sell stuff here).

Well I figured that can run me about $225 according to shipping costs on ebay. But exploring options to the best of my ability
