OEM Fairing Not Color Matching
So I dropped my bike and cracked my left fairing on my 09 CT Blue ninja 250.
I ordered a a replacement from Ronayers for the 09 CT Blue Ninja 250 and the color doesn't match. The replacement I got looks like its for the 09 CP Blue. So I contacted Ronayers and they agreed that the color is off even though its the same exact part number I required for the particular year of my bike. So they decided to contact the Kawi manufacturer they get their parts from and even then the pics they sent me of the new fairings they received are off color. Is it possible that the fairings on my bike is just faded hence the reason the colors don't match? Or is it because there's a flaw w/ the manufacturer. Here's a pic of my front left fender and the replacement fairing they sent me installed. Here's my right fairing Here's the 08 CP Blue which is almost the exact color to the fairing Ronayer sent me. Hard to tell. Clearly those colors look quite different, but it's hard to know if it really is a defect on the new part or not. On my bike, which has had the same fairings since new, the front fairing has a slightly different tint than the side fairings (both red). It's not nearly as different as what is shown in these pics, but looking at them carefully, it is apparent that the shade is different enough to be noticeable.

I believe '08 was candy plasma and '09 was candy thunder. That fairing you have installed definitely looks like candy plasma. If you had the correct fairing, it could conceivably look a little darker than the rest of the bike since sun fading would have affected the rest of the fairings, but not lighter as is your case.

No problem Neil . It looks like the right part number. I think someone mislabled the fairings that ronayers got. Those are CP fairings, not CT.

Yeah, I agree with Tri. That's definitely not CT Blue. My ninja is the same color as yours and it's a distinct deep blue. Somehow must've gotten Candy Plasma and Candy Thunder switched up.

Ya... I'm pretty sure there was a mishap somewhere between Ronayers and the Kawi manufacturer.
Right now, they're saying that my bike was painted somewhere along the line... |

CP Blue has very obvious metallic flakes in the paint. Look for the sparkle.
