Need paint job opinions for a Cobalt SS Turbo

So my Chevy Cobalt SS was vandalized a little over a week ago on my dad's birthday.
I'm about to get it repainted through my insurance.
I've been thinking about having it painted lime green to match my Kawasaki Ninja 250R, but being tagged a "ricer" (think "squid" but in automobile terms) isn't going to be fun...

So I'm curious as to what colors you guys think would look good on this car:

(The navy one on the right)

I don't want to do the same color. If I'm getting it repainted and losing resale value, I might as well go with a unique color.

FWIW, the car will always be parked in the garage from now on.

Sorry to hear about the vandalism. Did somebody scratch "wash me" into your paint by any chance?

Anyway you're not losing resale value unless it's a salvage title unless you paint it a completely different color. Kawasaki green on that car would absolutely hideous. I think a sort of dark grey blue metallic would look nice.

Somebody scratched "Turbo" on the trunk and "SS" on both doors.
You might be right about the lime green on the car.

Imagine that without the douchebag sitting next to the car & the black top.
I think it would look pretty nice, but I'm not 100% sure about it.

possibly the dark green gray metallic used on mid 90's impalas. might be a bit too dark for your liking.

I'm pretty certain a paint job like that CAN'T exist without a douchebag next to it

(Only I actually think that paint job in particular looks really, really good)

Not sure how it would be without the black to balance out the extremity of the green though. Seems like it might be a bit overkill to make the entire car that color. Actually, one moment....

I would find a medium to light blue in a metallic that matches the coarseness of your metallic(if it is). A very fine metallic or a pearl if it is solid. Looking at the picture of the green 2 tone they put up, use the same body line but paint the upper color the lighter blue. Instead of stopping at the end of the hood, continue along the bodyline that traces the outside of the headlight and continue it across the top of the bumper just below the grille connecting to the otherside. Paint the grille divide, mirrors and wing to match that color, of course. Smoke the glass. If I remember, the back has 4 round taillights. I'd try to bring that line down and across in a way that divides them in half with the 2 colors. Last just choose a good pinstripe, maybe hand-painted to ease the line. IMO.

Is it weird that I'm really digging this color? Looks like it's been highlighted!

I'm going to look more into what color I want to go with.

@ Gulf1, I don't want to do two-tone, tbh. I'd prefer just one color all the way around, and on top of that, the body shop will certainly charge extra for something like that.

I'm all about simplicity. I really like white and black. Crystal White is a nice color. Black, well it is black. I also really liked Dark Shadow Grey. Of course the Subaru Blue is a great color as well. Speaking of Subaru, that Pearl White they had on the '06 body styles was gorgeous. I almost got one...wish I did...that car looked awesome.

No, I don't have any enemies. I don't know who would want to do this to my car. All I know is that I visited my parents during my dad's birthday, it was late so I ended up spending the night, and when I woke up, my car was fucked up!
I think it was just some punk ass teen(s) who had nothing better to do on a Saturday night, but whatever. . . I can't do anything about it now.

Have it repaired in oem factory color. This gives you your best chance at not having a real pos looking job a year later. It also keeps you from having all the jamb work done.

Maintenance is a bitch though. Flats always just made me think the person had no $ for real paint. Unless its a rod or Harley and fits the culture.

im gonna paint my srt4 either a flat white or flat black.. basically black or white paint then flat clear on top. without a clear on it, it wont hold up to well. but when done right it looks good.
