Taking home a big back of chips

/w Bungee cords.

So this is my experience from a few days ago.

I went to walmart to buy chips but the bag was so big I didn't want to strap it on top of the rear seat for fear of crushing them.

So what I did was the following

With the bungee hooks into the bag its self under the rear seat above the rear tire haha.

When I got home there was a big black hole in the bag as if it was burnt (some chips were black too) but for the most part I had about 90% of the chips! Woo hoo!

FYI: yes I still ate them =p

I heard if you opened a bag of Lays potato chips, and threw a couple of lite matches into the bag... because of all of the oil in them you could catch the whole bag on fire... kinda of topic

Never tried it myself... let me know if it works... I always had a problem when I tried... You know the old saying... "No one can eat just one"

Never tried it with potato chips, but fritos will burn quite well. Try it next time, just take one and light it with a match, it burns for quite a while! They work well for starting a camp fire.

I suppose a back pack would have helped greatly...

I did that once as well though (and I didn't have a back pack either, so I really can't say anything). I just put them into the plastic bag then sat them on the tank and just bent forward a little, using my torso to just ever so lightly keep them in place.

I have found myself a perfect solution for this dilema...my gf. We got take out from a hibachi place and she held them on the back while we were going 60mph back to her place. .

I used to have little dilemmas like that until I got my backpack. Also, you can put it in the store bag and duct tape it to the seat or tank. If you use the tape option, be prepared to have a gooey mess to clean up from the bike when you get home.

Awesome thread. Best part is Adan's drawing of hot exhaust.

Can you try this with a frozen pizza and let us know how it works out? I think you discovered a new mobile cooking method (copyright it now!).

Yeah it would have haha but it didn't occur to me and plus the bag was a big bag. Doesn't fit in my school backpack.

I use bags of fritos to start bonfires and stuff. One bag of those things once lit, will make even wet wood burn. They burn for ever. Kinda smells good too.
