Coffee run

Idris (alfmoonspace) and I met for some jo and bagels this morning and talked shop. Much to my surprise, Idris asks me if I'd like to ride his tricked out ZX6R . Nice bike and you better be holding on when you exceed around 9000 rpm Very taunt suspension. You would have to ride this bike hard to get the suspension working.

It now has a new windshield and a gp style pipe.

Thanks Idris for the treat.

Haha that's awesome! How much different is the play on the throttle with the ZX6R?

Idris has it set up with very little play in the throttle and clutch. Initally soft, I stalled the bike about 6-8 times , but once you get in the rev band its gets really fun. He told me the power commander he had installed really smoothed out the throttle. This bike would not be good for a beginner.

Oh and it sounds sweet!

They are awesome bikes, but I prefer the looks to the previous body style (07-08)...

Jeff's a good guy and I can tell he's a fundamental rider aka i can trust him. My best friends are squidish and I wouldn't even let them look at my bike, let alone ride it.

Love the zx and 250's. Scratch that, I love pretty much all motorcycles.
