Missing bolt / Someone tried to steal my bike?

Ok, so I'm 100% certain this wasn't like this before, but sometime between last night and today, I noticed that this bolt was missing near the choke.

Does anyone know what size bolt that is and where I would be able to get a new one. Also would I be able to continue riding the bike safely without replacing that bolt?

Ride on brah! Your missing the little black plug. In fact, there is nothing in that hole from the factory. It's reserved for an accessory, mirror, gps clamp and so on.

Awesome.

I guess that was a bit paranoiac of me to immediately think that some bastard tried to steal it lol.

It's not bent that much, nothing major. But if you wanna fix it; Remove it, put it in a vice and bend it back straight. Getting the bar ends (weights) off will be the hardest part. Roll it on something flat and try to get it to roll as smoothly as possible. Should be a fun Sat. afternoon project.

Hmm! Does anybody know anything about that little hole? What's the diameter? Is it screw-threaded? Does anybody use it ... if so, what for?

I don't think it's threaded from kawi. Since you plug is missing, do you see any threads in there? Maybe a previous owner tapped it. If it's not already tapped, then you have some options. Check out what this guy did.

it's threaded (or should be). just like stated above, it's an accessory hole. it will take mirrors (most non-sportbikes have mirrors mounted on the bars) and accessory mounts.

Seems like a really good idea. I hadn't heard of this before.

It should definitely be threaded. I put a mirror from my dads bike in there to test it the other day.
