Leathers
More than a few selling on ebay. Seller named nehan711 seems to have good reviews on his product and am wondering if anyone has purchased from him or any other seller of discount leathers on ebay.
v-surgics, motosport, jackets4bikers, and quashahiabdu are some others. Some do custom tailoring. |

Stay away from NO-NAME brands from any retailer, or any other sellers.
Spend the money right right the first time, and quality gear will last you for many years if you take care of them. Leathers need care, and maintenance, I personally have mine sent out and professional cleaned, and retreated about every 2 years, and they always come back like new, if not better. If you've never had leathers professional cleaned before, I recommend doing it, it does cost about $50 to do a jacket, but it's money well spent, and helps keep the leathers from dirt, drying out, cracking, etc.... Most professional dry cleaners do offer the service, some have it done offsite.

I know this will not be a popular opinion but even the Bilt suits from Cycle Gear are decent. I've raced in one for three years now and crashed in it too. Just a few scuffs from the slide, still entirely serviceable!
I treat it and clean it every year myself with Connolly Hide Food that I also use on the leather in the Jaguar. Keeps it soft and supple. No seam tears, adequate armor in the elbows and knees.

I run this under mine. I prefer a protector that is strapped to your body rather than the leathers so it can't move. Leathers are in the truck, let me check the pocket in them.
The rukka is good for abrasion protection but it won't do much if your back hits something immovable, like getting rear ended or going off the road. Food for thought. http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/d...back-protector
