Smile Powercommander without Pro custom map

Hey guys!
I was wondering...
I installed a full system Yoshimura exhaust on my FI Ninjette, and now i'm going to buy a powercommander for it.
But do you really think it's needed for me, to get it on a dyno, and have a pro make a custom map for it? Or would the pre programmed custom map that's available on the Powercommander website, do the job just fine?

The custom map on the website, is made for the 250r with a full system Yoshimura installed.

I know that I'm asking a question that I've already answered, i just want to be completely sure!

(the reason for me making a thread about it, is that i've never been a member of the powercommander world, so i have absolutly no idea, if the small differences in the map, are able to kill your bike or not!)

If you got the PC-V, just get the auto tune module. If you got the PCIII, you can go with there map, its probably close.

You can also throw the PCIII into program mode, adjust the low/mid/high rpm ranges. Kinda just like jetting a carb

You can enter to win a new PC(or pc stuff). I been putting in 09 FZ1 once a month, hoping to win the new PC-V for my 06 R1.

PCV other wise you'll need a custom map probably. The climate is alot different from place to place and unless the custom map is setup for Denmark (which I don't know) you may hit issues.

Gonna call my Dynojet pusher, and have a chitchat with him! (:
He'll probably tell me what the most optimal thing would be.

And again, the price does actually make a bit of a difference, or atleast, that's the reason i'm not gonna go with the Custom map solution, as my first choice.

Getting a powercommander is somewhat near 250$, but with the custom map and a K&N Filter, the price would rise to nothing less, than 1250$. I guess you can see why i'm searching for alternative ways of getting more juice out of my bike

Sure Matt, I would be interested in a couple of months if my finance is in good condition.
If you can find it under 300$ it would be nice!

Ya the prices I am listing are what Bram at sportisi charges. If you can find it cheaper elsewhere than by all means get that. I'm in the interest of saving people money.
