Yet another alternate air filter Q (UNI pods)

Anyone running the UNI pod filters here? They'd run a lot cheaper than the K&Ns. No need to buy special proprietary oil and cleaning agent. Besides, I've been reading things about K&Ns being in-suffcient at filtering smaller particles in return for greater airflow, compared to foam filters.

I just want to get rid of the airbox.

All that's needed is the diameter of the carb intakes.

and yet they are still in business. I've had no problems w/ K&N's in the many years I've used them. Are you sure you're not installing them backwards?

The number one mistake people make with K&N's on bikes is adding Oil to the Filter when they first install them, and then over oiling them when they clean them.

You need the 50mm ID Unipods.

Thanks for that. Saved me from going outside and measuring it myself.

I'm trying to decide between the regulars (second listing) vs the dual layered ones (third listing) http://www.unifilter.com/online%20ca...universal.html

Anyone know the diameter of the breather valve off hand too?
