7500 mile inspection

I have fortunate enough to have be able to put 7500 miles on my 2012 (new in June 2014) Ninja and while its winter here in Ohio I have the time to work on her.

Did a valve check and all valves within spec but one intake is near the tight end of the tolerance so the cams came out and we put all valves in the middle of the spec. I took a great amount of time breaking in this bike with heat cycling and oil changes (3x first 120 miles) so I think that's why the valves are nearly perfect even at 7500 miles.

I decided to change out the coolant so we'll be good for another year and will install my Spiegler SS lines and mirror extenders. The 2 Fifty will be ready for more touring. I also have a 2006 KLR 650 that I've farkled up for Adventure Big Bike Touring.

Since I've purchased the 250 new out of the crate in June 2014 I've added the Corbin seat, Zero Gravity Sport Touring shield, GPS and 32 liter top case which takes the place of my rear seat. Plenty of space for three days worth of clothing. The 250 Ninja is a great bike to do a lot of things. Wardie
