Selling my OEM Kawasaki 08 Black seat cowl, selling because i do not have the bike anymore i got a 08 cbr 1000rr ( the ninja still rocks).

Anyways i bought this 2 weeks go for 100 lol

im letting it go 80$ shipped.

its in perfect condition !!! has fingerprints on it lol thats it.

So let me know.

Before i put this stuff up on ebay.

Is the style of cowl that has the notch on the left hand side to allow for a helmet strap or the style without. If its the style that doesn't have the notch then I am interested if your interested in shipping it Australia. I will pay for shipping.

yes it has the opening for the strap and ill ship it to australia its pretty expensive lol.

why wouldnt you want the strap lol ?? thats for the helmet, with out it u lose your helmet locks, and then it really looks out of place lol

I never locked my helmet to the bike when I had my red one. I figure I am not going to lock my helmet or a spare helmet to the black one.

The red bike I had didn't have the strap thingy. I don't do 2 up so therefore I have no need the strap thingy. It would anoy me seeing the slit there everyday

lol the slit wont annoying u as much as the damn why is the cowl so off lol you shall see lol ( i learned from experience) .

Is the 2010 black even the same as '08 Ebony Black? We don't have a normal black for 2010 here... just Ebony/Candy Persimmon Red Special Edition, which would actually need a Candy Persimmon Red cowl to look right.

That said, all '09 black cowls will have the notch for a helmet strap.

The colour on my 2010 is called ebony, so I am assuming 08-09 ebony black is the same as 2010 ebony black

08 and 09 blacks are not the same. I would guess the 2010 ebony is the same as the 2008 ebony.

What are the varying blacks called, we have ebony as one, what would be the other(s). I heard rumour one of the blacks was a metallic ??

09s were Diablo Black Metallic... at least in the market here.

My 09 is a metallic black. I didn't know it until I got home with it... it made me wanna gag. I deal with it though because even in metallic [fact]it's still faster than all the other available colors.[/fact]

technically, black would absorb more heat from the sun so it is the hottest.
