That other big spring motorcycle gathering in Florida may get all the press, but that doesn’t mean that other rallies aren’t going on there. Case in point,*Panama City Beach Motorcycle Rally*gets under way just about three weeks from today.

The*April 30th – May 4th, 2014*event kicks off with a party at the*Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort and Tiki Bar, featuring the bands Mustang Sally and Big Engine. The event schedule for 2014 also includes daily*poker runs*to raise money for the*Toys for Kids Foundation, one of the most prestigious charities in Bay County FL, which provides services to families with children to make Christmas a little brighter every year.

The*Spring 2014 Ms. Newby’s Old School Bike Show*is scheduled for Friday May 2nd from Noon to 6:00 PM and is being held in the memory of the show founder Scott Davis. The classes of bikes in the show include: Shovel Head, Custom Shovelhead, Stock Panhead, Custom Panhead, Antique American (Indian, Knucklehead Flathead, or other), British / European, Sportster (89 & Older), Metric / Other. Awards will be given to the winner and runner up in all classes with a People’s Choice also awarded.

The*Spinnaker Beach Club*will have its beach-front venue open featuring vendors like: Hot Leathers, Trick Lites, It’s a Steel Jewelry, Cross Creek Leather, Original Bike Spirits Shitzengiggles Leather Repair and Advanced Auto Parts. Nighttime activities include bands and DJs.

The*Lucky 13*venue will have a stage filled with bands, day and night. The*Thunder Thursday*will also be held here.
