Your talking apples and oranges

There is no such thing as "the best pipe". There's also no such thing as what color shoes are the best etc. It all amounts to personal taste. If I were you I would go and poke around on youtube as there are plenty of people posting what their aftermarket exhausts sound like. Yes you will have to rejet. An aftermarket exhaust flow's more more air thus making the bike run leaner. If you run the bike lean long enough/hard enough you will start burning valves which is really not that good of a thing. Back when 2 strokes were roaming the land all over the place, running one of those puppies lean would equal a seized motor.

You WILL have to take the carbs of numerous times to find the correct main jet that pulls the hardest, best needle position and best fuel mixture setting.

An after market exhaust is not going to deliever a WOW OH MY GOOD LOOK AT THIS NEW FOUND POWER INCREASE!!! effect. It may hardly be noticeable. The best thing you can do to get more power is to remove the stock air box and that of coarse requires a re-jet as well.

I have a full system muzzy and absolutely love it. It is WAY loud as are all aftermarket pipes.

I have very good reviews about Two Brothers Racing slip-ons. They have the deep and LOUD tone you are looking for. The site says that rejeting is not needed but the bike be that much better with a rejet as it runs a little lean from the factory.
